About the Digital India Internship Programme
The Digital India Programme, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), seeks to democratize digital services and enhance e-governance across India. This internship is an opportunity for students to engage with legal aspects of digital policy, including data protection, cybersecurity, and tech law.
Interns will work on key areas like:
- Legal compliance
- Data protection and privacy
- Cybersecurity regulations
- Digital rights policies
- Technology law intersection with government services
Internship Purpose
The Digital India Internship Programme provides students with a first-hand, practical work experience in the digital governance space, under the guidance of experienced mentors. This internship emphasizes active participation and practical application of knowledge learned in the classroom.
Eligibility
- Indian students pursuing LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university
- Must have at least 60% marks in the last examination
