About the Opportunity

Ernst & Young is inviting applications for the role of Consultant in its Tax team. This opportunity is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build expertise in corporate taxation, advisory, and litigation within a globally recognized firm.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous interaction with clients and manage expectations
• Collaborate with tax professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions
• Represent the firm in assessments and tribunal appeals at CIT/ITAT levels
• Research complex tax theories and apply them to client-specific scenarios
• Review tax case laws and develop detailed opinion papers
• Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance within budget
• Identify risk areas and adapt strategies during compliance processes

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate degree (preferably in economics, finance, or statistics)
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; or
• CA / CS / LL.B. with 0–1 year of post-qualification experience in direct corporate tax
• Experience in domestic/international tax and transfer pricing
• Exposure to litigation, tax compliance, advisory, corporate laws, and SEBI/FEMA regulations
