About the Opportunity

National Law University Jodhpur is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate under the project titled “Building Participatory AI Governance Frameworks in the Indian Context.”

This is a contractual role (4 months) offering hands-on experience in AI policy, governance, and interdisciplinary research.

About the Project

The project aims to develop inclusive and context-sensitive AI governance frameworks for Indian organizations. It focuses on ethical AI adoption and participatory approaches to address governance challenges in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of research activities
• Conduct data collection and field visits
• Support qualitative and quantitative research
• Prepare interview tools and questionnaires
• Draft and compile research reports
• Provide administrative and logistical support

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree in Management, Humanities, or Social Sciences
• Minimum 55% marks from a recognized university

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in academic or policy research
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
