About the Opportunity

P&G is hiring a Legal Counsel for its India operations. This role is ideal for experienced legal professionals looking to work in a dynamic in-house environment, advising on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and commercial matters.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on industry-specific laws and compliance requirements
• Draft, vet, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts and agreements
• Advise on marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives
• Support intellectual property-related matters
• Assist in business development transactions and documentation
• Implement legal processes, policies, and compliance trainings (FCPA, anti-bribery, competition laws, etc.)
• Collaborate with government relations teams on regulatory matters
• Partner with internal teams including HR, Medical, Regulatory, Sales, and R&D
• Advise on go-to-market strategies
• Manage disputes across various forums
• Coordinate with external counsel and legal service providers

Eligibility Criteria

• Law degree (LL.B.)
• 3–7 years of experience with a reputed law firm or in-house legal team (preferably in pharma/FMCG sector)
• Company Secretary qualification preferred
