About the Opportunity

Fox Mandal & Associates LLP is looking for qualified lawyers to join the Corporate Commercial and Transaction Team in Chennai.

• Legal Associate: PQE 1-3 years
• Senior Associate: PQE 4-8 years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and supply agreements
• Assist in M&A, private equity, and other transactional work, including due diligence and documentation
• Conduct legal research and prepare notes, opinions, and client advisories
• Support senior team members in structuring transactions and managing deal processes
• Liaise with clients and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution

Eligibility Criteria

• LL.B. from a recognized university; enrolled with the Bar Council of India
• PQE 1-3 years (Associate) or 4-8 years (Senior Associate) in a law firm or in-house team
• Strong drafting, analytical, and commercial skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Preference for candidates with LLM in relevant subjects and/or currently based in Chennai
