About the YPPLE 2026

The Young Professionals Programme for Legal Empowerment (YPPLE) is a prestigious 2-year immersive fellowship. It is designed for individuals who want to bridge the gap between academic law and social justice. Fellows work directly with grassroots paralegals and community lawyers, gaining unparalleled field experience in rural and challenging environments.

What the Programme Offers

Field Immersion: Direct interaction with marginalized communities and extensive field travel.
Expert Mentorship: Training and guidance from veterans in social justice lawyering.

Eligibility Criteria

CSJ is looking for diverse perspectives. Candidates from the following backgrounds are encouraged:

Education: Graduates or Post-graduates in Law, Management, Communications, Design, Art, or Journalism.
Mindset: A strong commitment to social justice and a willingness to work in challenging field realities.
Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and the ability to travel extensively.
