About the Post

DAKSH is inviting individuals to apply to lead research, analysis, advocacy and stakeholder engagement for the Direct Tax Systems Reform project, work in close collaboration with veterans from tax administration to identify systemic challenges and develop actionable policy recommendations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead research on assessments, dispute resolution, and data analytics.
• Engage with tax officers, practitioners & industry experts.
• Draft white papers, briefs, and knowledge products.
• Shape reform recommendations with veterans from the Income Tax Department.
• Mentor junior researchers.

Eligibility

• 3–5 years of experience in tax law, litigation, or policy.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• LLB/LLM/CA

Location: Bengaluru.

Compensation: 16-18 LPA.
