About the Internship Program
The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is launching a Special Internship Drive 2025, inviting law students to gain firsthand exposure to legal aid systems, justice delivery mechanisms, and public interest litigation frameworks across Delhi. It’s a rare opportunity to observe the working of courts, tribunals, legal aid initiatives, and outreach programs.
Eligibility & Seats
- Open to law students enrolled in 3- or 5-year law degrees.
- A total of 100 internship slots are available.
Key Dates & Application Process
- Application Window: From 6 August 2025 (10:00 AM) to 18 August 2025 (5:00 PM)
- Apply online via the DSLSA official website: dslsa.org
- Required attachments:
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Recommendation letter from your principal or HOD—applications missing these will be rejected.
- Selection Notification
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email
- Selected candidates must confirm participation by 25 August 2025 via email to legaltwing-dslsa@nic.in, else their slot may be forfeited.
Internship Duration & Engagement
- Internship Period: 1–30 September 2025
- Minimum Attendance: 75%—mandatory for obtaining the internship certificate

As part of the internship, students may engage with various legal and social institutions, including:
- Courts & Tribunals (District Courts, Family Courts, Mediation Centres)
- Outreach & Legal Aid Initiatives (Door-to-Door Campaigns, Legal Clinics)
- Child-focused Institutions (Observation Homes, Juvenile Justice Boards, Child Welfare Committees)
- Corrective & Safety Institutions (Tihar/Rohini/Mandoli Jails, Police Stations)
- Support Institutions (One-Stop Centers, Shelter Homes, District Administrative Offices)
