About the Job

The Direct Tax practice at the Mumbai office is inviting applications for mid-to-senior level positions. This role offers an elite platform to work on sophisticated tax planning, cross-border transactions, and representation before various judicial authorities.

Position & Eligibility

• Positions: Senior Associate & Principal Associate.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Core Skills: Strong interest or proven experience in Direct Tax; exceptional legal research and analytical capabilities.
• Attributes: Ability to handle complex advisory and litigation matters with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Advisory: Providing legal opinions on domestic and international tax implications for corporate restructuring and M&A.

• Compliance: Assisting clients with complex assessment proceedings and tax audits.
