The role is suited for experienced litigators with substantial exposure to financial crimes, regulatory investigations, and complex corporate criminal litigation.
Role overview
The Senior Associate will be responsible for handling high-stakes white-collar crime matters, managing investigations, advising clients, and leading litigation strategy across multiple forums.
Essential qualification and experience
• LL.B. from a reputed university
• LL.M. preferred but not mandatory
• 6 to 8 years of strong litigation experience
• Core exposure to economic offences, PMLA matters, Companies Act violations, and anti-corruption cases
• Prior experience with leading white-collar crime practitioners or law firms
• Strong drafting, research, and client-handling skills
• Ability to work independently and supervise junior team members
Roles and responsibilities
• Lead and manage white-collar crime matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and trial courts
• Handle investigations and proceedings involving the Enforcement Directorate, CBI, SFIO, SEBI, and other regulatory authorities
• Draft and vet complaints, bail applications, replies, petitions, and related pleadings
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on compliance and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with senior counsels, enforcement agencies, and corporate clients
• Mentor and supervise junior associates
