The Centre for Communication Governance (CCG) at National Law University, Delhi, is India’s premier academic research centre dedicated to information technology law and policy. Since 2013, CCG has been a pivotal voice in shaping digital governance, cybersecurity law, and internet policy, working closely with governmental and international bodies.
About the Opportunity
CCG is expanding its team with 18 open positions across various seniority levels. They are looking for researchers and managers who can bridge the gap between technology and law, particularly focusing on gender rights, marginalized communities, and constitutional protections in the digital age.

Eligibility Criteria
CCG welcomes an interdisciplinary cohort. Candidates from the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:
- Law & Policy: LL.B. / LL.M. with a focus on Tech Law, Human Rights, or Constitutional Law.
- Social Sciences: Degrees in International Affairs, Economics, Development Studies, or Public Policy.
- Technical: B.Sc. / B.Tech (IT/CS/Cyber Security) with a demonstrated interest in Public Policy.
- Specialization: Preference for candidates with research experience in gender, youth, and marginalized communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Analysis: Conducting in-depth legal and regulatory research to develop legislative recommendations.
- High-Impact Writing: Drafting academic papers, policy briefs, op-eds, and reports for domestic and international audiences.
- Representation: Representing CCG at global conferences, roundtables, and in the media.
- Institutional Building: (For Managerial roles) Leading teams, setting research agendas, and managing high-stress policy response periods.
Salary & Work Mode
- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (performance-based higher remuneration possible).
- Type: Full-time (CCG Researcher) or Part-time (Consultant).
