About the Job
NLU Delhi is inviting applications for the position of Full-time Research Associate on a contractual basis for a research project titled “Reparations and Victim-Centred Justice under International Criminal Law.”
The project is funded through the Research Endeavour Grant (N-REG) 2025-26 of NLU Delhi and focuses on studying reparations jurisprudence in international criminal law.
The appointment will initially be for six months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and project requirements.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Assist in legal research related to international criminal law.
- Work closely with the Project Director on research tasks and project deliverables.
- Contribute to research outputs related to reparations and victim-centred justice frameworks.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- LL.B. or B.A. LL.B. degree and LL.M. (appearing or completed) from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a good academic record.
- At least one peer-reviewed publication in a reputed journal.
- Previous experience in international law research projects is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of substantive and procedural international law.
- Excellent English proficiency.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Remuneration
- ₹35,000 per month (consolidated).
- The salary will be funded through the N-REG project grant administered by NLU Delhi.
