The Ministry of women and child development (MWCD), Government of India, is inviting applications from women candidates for its paid internship programme, offering direct exposure to public policy, governance, and social justice initiatives at the central government level.
About the internship
Interns will work on policy analysis, pilot projects, micro-studies, research on ongoing government schemes, and grassroots-level issues affecting women and children across India.
Eligibility
• Women students, scholars, social activists, or teachers
• Candidates from non-tier I cities and rural areas
• Associated with any academic or non-academic institution
• Age between 21 and 40 years
Facilities provided
• Monthly stipend of ₹20,000 (lump sum)
• Travel reimbursement (AC bus or 3-tier AC train)
• Hostel accommodation in Delhi on a sharing basis
