About the Organisation

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is a statutory body that sets science-based standards for food products and regulates their manufacture, storage, distribution, sale, and import to ensure the availability of safe, wholesome, and healthy food for the public. It was established under the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006, and is regulated by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

About the Opportunity

FSSAI invites applications for the post of Law Intern who will be attached to the Headquarters.

Duration: Minimum 2 months| Maximum 6 months

Location: FSSAI HQ – 3rd & 4th Floor, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, near Bal Bhawan, New Delhi – 110002

Stipend: ₹10,000/- (for entire internship period)-Based on attendance, officer’s assessment & final report evaluation.

Note: 1. Certificate shall be issued by HR Division, FSSAI (HQ) upon successful completion & evaluation.

  1. No lodging/boarding/travel expenses covered.

Eligibility

  1. Full-time Graduate/Post Graduate/Higher degree students (India/Abroad).
  2. Law Students: Bachelor/Master of Law.
