The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has opened applications for its Internship Programme 2026, offering law students an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to legal aid, access to justice initiatives, and Lok Adalat functioning.
About NALSA
NALSA is a statutory body dedicated to providing free legal services to weaker sections of society and strengthening the justice delivery system through legal awareness and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
Internship Details
- Duration: 1 month (4 weeks, physical mode)
- Commencement: 1st day of the month
- Stipend: Not provided
- Accommodation: Not provided
- Certificate: Issued on successful completion (minimum 90% attendance)
Eligibility
- 3-Year LL.B: 2nd or 3rd year students preferred
- 5-Year Integrated LL.B: 4th or 5th year students preferred
Key Requirements
- Formal black & white dress code
- Candidate must carry own laptop
- Office hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(Monday–Saturday; 2nd & 4th Saturdays off) - Submission of internship report is mandatory
