LLB Internship Programme 2025 – Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice (India)

Internship Period

September 1 – 30, 2025 — full-time physical internship at headquarters and branch offices.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have passed 2nd year of 3-year LL.B. or 3rd year of 5-year LL.B. program (or be a law graduate from a recognized institution).
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, infographic software, Adobe, etc.) are preferred.
• Gain practical insight into legal research, court functioning, and advisory work across areas such as constitutional, administrative, finance, infrastructure, economic, labour, conveyancing, arbitration & contract law.
• Work hands-on under departments located in New Delhi, Supreme Court, High Court Section (Delhi), and branch secretariats in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru.

Stipend

• A ₹5,000 honorarium is offered upon successful completion of the internship.

Selection & Deployment

• Limited to 50 interns per month—shortlisted candidates will be contacted via the Department’s Internship Portal or email.
• Mandatory 90% attendance and performance feedback required for certification.

Application Process

• Complete the official online application form and upload required documents.
• Current students must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their university; law graduates need to upload their degree certificate instead.
