About the Job

JSA is looking for a high-performing Associate for its FinTech and General Contracting practice. This role involves a blend of high-level regulatory advisory for financial technology companies and the negotiation of complex commercial contracts.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Firm Background: Candidates must have prior experience working with Tier-1 law firms.
• Specialization: Proven expertise in FinTech (Finance Regulatory) and/or extensive experience in General Contracting matters.
• Competencies: Ability to work independently while coordinating seamlessly with internal teams and global clients.

Practice Area Exposure

• FinTech Regulatory: Navigating RBI guidelines, digital payments, NBFC regulations, and E-mandates.
• Commercial Contracts: Drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Advisory: Providing legal opinions on the evolving regulatory landscape for digital lending and financial intermediaries.
