About Adv Siddharth Kakka
Mr. Kakka is a lawyer with over nine years of experience specializing in litigation and advisory services across Arbitration, Mediation, Corporate Laws, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Property Laws, Taxation, Data Privacy, Security Laws, FEMA, and Testamentary Laws. He also provides advisory support for Mergers and Acquisitions and Group Restructuring involving Indian and offshore companies, including their subsidiaries.
His expertise extends to drafting legal opinions and representations related to Arbitration, Income Tax, GST, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Security Laws, and other allied areas. Additionally, he advises on and manages the incorporation of companies and their offshore subsidiaries in compliance with regulations set by RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and tax authorities.
About the Internship
We invite applications from dedicated and sincere law students for a long-term internship, ideally lasting 6 to 8 months. This opportunity is designed for individuals committed to pursuing a career as independent legal practitioners and eager to gain hands-on experience with the practical aspects of the profession. We seek candidates who are disciplined, hardworking, and keen to learn. While prior experience is not required, a strong dedication to the legal field is essential.
The internship will involve exposure to various areas of practice including Arbitration, Property Disputes, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Disputes, Recovery Proceedings, Corporate Litigation, Drafting, Non-litigation, and Advisory work.
Eligibility
(i) Students studying in 3rd year and onwards of an integrated 5 year Law course.
(ii) Excellent research and analytical skills.
(iii) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is required.
(iv) Excellent communication, organizational, and research skills are essential.
(v) Law students eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in litigation. Long-term joiners are appreciated.
