About Justice HMJ R. Mahadevan

He was born on 10.06.1963 at Chennai. Completed law degree at Madras Law College and enrolled with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu in the year 1989. He practised in civil, criminal and writ sides with specialisation in indirect taxes, customs and Central Excise matters for a period of 25 years. He also served as an Additional Government Pleader (Taxes) for the Government of Tamil Nadu, as Additional Central Government Standing Counsel and Senior Panel Counsel for the Government of India at Madras High Court.

About the Opportunity

The Office of HMJ R. Mahadevan, Judge, Supreme Court of India is inviting applications for a full-time physical internship on a rolling basis up to March 2026.

Mode: Physical.

Roles and Responsibilities

The internship responsibilities shall include

• preparing case notes,
• conducting legal research, and
• observing court proceedings.

Eligibility Criteria

Only law students in their 3rd year or above of the 5-year program and 2nd year or above of the 3-year program are encouraged to apply.

Last date to apply: The last date for applying is the 15th of the preceding month to the preferred month of internship.

Location: Delhi.
