The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is inviting applications for its August 2025 Internship Programme. This initiative offers students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the workings of India's premier competition regulatory authority.

About the Programme

As part of its advocacy mandate under Section 49 of the Competition Act, 2002, the CCI conducts various outreach and training programmes. This internship aims to provide students with practical insights into competition law and the functioning of the Commission.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be enrolled in recognized Indian institutions/universities and meet the following criteria:

Law Students:

2nd and 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. program
4th and final year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. program
Students entering the 4th year after completing 3rd-year exams

LL.M. students

Economics & Management Students:

M.A./M.Sc. in Economics

4th and final year of a 5-year integrated Economics program

MBA students

Regulatory Governance Students:

M.A./M.Sc. in Regulatory Governance

Professional Course Students:

Final group students of Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, or Company Secretaryship

*Note: Students with confirmed placement offers are not eligible to apply. *

Duration

The internship is scheduled for August 2025.

Stipend

Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 for the duration of the internship.
