About Pro Bono Club, MNLU Mumbai
The Pro Bono Club, established by the Department of Justice, Government of India, at Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, is committed to promoting legal awareness, social justice, and community engagement.
The objectives of the Club include:
- Enrolling students in the Nyaya Bandhu (Pro-Bono Legal Services) Programme to assist government departments, private bodies, and lawyers in pro-bono work.
- Facilitating projects that allow students to volunteer for underprivileged communities.
- Enabling students to explore social work while contributing meaningfully to society.
- Working under the ‘Assisted Model’, collaborating with governmental and private organizations to enhance efficiency and outreach.
About the Internship Opportunity
The Pro Bono Club is inviting applications for full-time interns on a rolling basis to assist with its activities at MNLU Mumbai.
Duration
- Minimum duration: 4 weeks
