About NALSA
The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) was constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. Its core mandate is to provide free and competent legal services to the weaker sections of society and to organize Lok Adalats for the amicable settlement of disputes. About the Internship
The program aims to acquaint law students with the practical workings of legal aid. Interns receive hands-on experience in specialized areas of legal services, assisting the authority in its mission to ensure that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or other disabilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- 5-Year LL.B.: Preference for students in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year.
- 3-Year LL.B.: Preference for students in their 2nd or 3rd year.
- Requirement: Must be enrolled in a recognized University/College/Institution.
