About the Organisation
The Chanakya National Law University is a public law school and a National Law University in Patna, Bihar. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar as a public university and dedicated to the field of legal education.
The Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched a Scheme for Pedagogy & Research in IPRs in the year 2016 under which IPR Chairs have been set up in select universities and academic institutes with an aim to strengthen IP Chairs in educational institutes of higher learning to provide quality teaching and research opportunities.
About the Opportunity
The DPIIT-IPR Chair at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) invites applications from law students enrolled in B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), or 3-Year LL.B. programmes for an internship opportunity. Selected interns will assist the Chair in research activities and contribute to the preparation of research papers on contemporary issues in the field of IPR.
Note: Each intern will have to write a research paper in SCOPUS Indexed Journal in a month during their internship as a condition for the release of the remuneration.
Commencement of internship: Nov 1, 2025.
Duration: The internship shall be for a duration of one month, which may be extended up to a maximum of three months, as per the intern’s performance.
Remuneration: Rs. 10,000/- per month
Selection Procedure
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CV and will be interviewed for the final selection.
