About the Organisation

National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, established under the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi Act, 2010 by the Government of Jharkhand. The Rector of the University is the Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar.

The Chair on Consumer Research and Policy, a think tank, was established in October 2024 by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Department of Consumer Affairs. It seeks to promote research, teaching and training in Consumer laws.

Eligibility

Internship is open to students from recognized law institutions and universities
Students pursuing the following courses can apply:

a. Second and third year of the Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year course after graduation), or

b. Second year onwards in the case of the integrated five-year course in Law.

c. LLM students.

Application Procedure:

Interested Candidates may apply by sending an email along with a write up of approximately 1000 words on Consumer Protection Laws at ccrp@nusrlranchi.ac.in.

Note: Applications should be submitted at least one month in advance, clearly mentioning the desired internship dates.
