About the Centre for Child Rights

Centre for Child Rights (CCR) under the wings of NUSRL is one such opportunity where the rights and entitlements pertaining to children are discussed and it provides a platform to those who want to pursue their career in the field of Child Rights and allied issues. CCR is committed and has taken the initiative to create consciousness among the general public and render support to the State’s initiative in the implementation of the aim and aspiration as specified in the national and international legal instruments with special focus on children, with provisions as outlined in the Indian Constitution.

About the Internship

In accordance with this effort and passion, CCR is pleased to announce this time around its call for one-month internships for anybody interested in contributing to research, study, and hands-on learning in the field of child rights and child protection. The chosen students are expected to engage in the program through the Centre for Child Rights NUSRL Ranchi office. This internship is offered both physically and remote formats.

Internship Guidelines

·       Location: NUSRL, Ranchi

·       Mode: onsite / remote

·       Duration: 1st August 2025 – 30th August 2025

·       Deadline to apply: 20th July 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a law student pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law course from a recognized university by BCI and UGC.
• Child Rights Activists & Professionals: Must be an individual actively working in the field of child rights. Must have graduated from any recognized university in India, irrespective of the course of study

• Answers to the questionnaire in the Google form

Certification Criteria

• The internship would run for a period of 30 days (01 Month).
• Only after the final report submission at the end of the stipulated time period will the internship certificate be provided.
