About AICC Law, Human Rights & RTI Department

Chaired by the eminent jurist Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, this specialized wing of the AICC is dedicated to monitoring legal policy, defending constitutional rights, and leveraging the RTI Act for transparency. The department serves as a bridge between legal expertise and political action.

About the Fellowship

The INC Legal Fellows Programme offers young law graduates a front-row seat to the intersection of law and politics. Fellows work closely with Members of Parliament (MPs) and party leadership on high-stakes legislative, constitutional, and policy-driven initiatives.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Law Graduates (3-year or 5-year LL.B.) from UGC-recognized universities.
• Age: Between 24 and 30 years.
• Aptitude: Strong interest in legislative research, constitutional law, and policy analysis.

Role of the Fellow

• Legislative Research: Analyzing Bills, proposed amendments, and Parliamentary Committee reports.
• Parliamentary Support: Drafting interventions, debate briefs, and parliamentary questions for MPs.
• Policy Monitoring: Tracking legal developments that impact governance and fundamental rights.

Stipend

💰 ₹50,000 per month

Duration

🗓 Approx. 3 Months (June 2026 - August 2026)
