About FSSAI

The Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a statutory body established under the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006. Operating under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, it is the apex regulator responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety.

About the Opportunity

Now in its fourth year, the FSSAI Internship Scheme provides young talent with unique exposure to food safety administration and regulation. It fosters an interdisciplinary environment where law, policy, and science intersect.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be pursuing a full-time Graduate, Post-Graduate, or Higher Degree in:

• Law: Bachelor or Master of Law (LL.B./LL.M.).
• Policy & Admin: Public Policy or Public Administration (HQ only).
• Business & Science: Management, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Statistics, or ICT.

Selection Process

1. Online Application: Initial screening based on eligibility.
2. Assessment: Shortlisted candidates may be required to submit a short write-up or presentation.
3. Final Declaration: The final list will be published on the FSSAI website by the respective regional/HQ office.
