Overview

NLUO (Cuttack) invites applications for 7 regular faculty positions across Law, English, and Sociology disciplines.

• Associate Professor (Law) — 2 posts (UR‑1, ST‑1)
• Assistant Professor (Law) — 3 posts (UR‑1, ST‑1, SEBC‑1)
• Assistant Professor (English) — 1 post (UR‑1)
• Assistant Professor (Sociology) — 1 post (SC‑1)

Last Date for Submission: August 6, 2025 (via speed/registered post)

Eligibility & Qualifications

Associate Professor (Law)

• Ph.D. in Law or allied subject
• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
• At least 8 years of teaching/research experience
• 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
• Research score ≥ 75 per UGC norms

Assistant Professor (All Streams)

• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD)
• Either cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. (or possess a Ph.D. from a top 500 global university) for NET exemption

Salary Structure

• Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A – ₹1,31,400 p.m.
• Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10 – ₹57,700 p.m.

Selection Procedure

Applications will be shortlisted based on academic and research credentials. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

2. Fill out the form accurately and attach self-attested documents (degrees, publications, experience certificates).
3. Enclose a Demand Draft of ₹1,000, payable to "Registrar, National Law University Odisha" at Cuttack.
4. Send via Speed/Registered post to:
