The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is inviting applications for the prestigious role of Law Research Associate on a contractual basis. This opportunity is available at the Amravati (Andhra Pradesh), Ahmedabad, and New Delhi benches.
About the Role
As a Law Research Associate, you will work closely with the Hon'ble President and Members of the NCLT. This role offers unparalleled exposure to high-stakes corporate litigation and insolvency matters under the Companies Act, 2013 and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Law Graduate (LLB or LLM) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a BCI-recognized institute.
- Graduation Timeline: Law degree obtained within the last two years (final-year students are also eligible).
- Age Limit: Must be below 30 years as of 5th April 2025.
- Skills Required: Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with legal research databases such as eSCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Domain Knowledge: Sound understanding of Company Law and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) is essential.
Remuneration
- Amravati & Ahmedabad: ₹60,000 per month
- New Delhi: ₹65,000 per month

Selection Process
Selection would be based on Written Examination and Interview. During the interview, candidates will be asked questions on the Companies Act, 2013, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and related laws. Candidates will also undergo tests to evaluate their research skills in Company Law and Corporate Insolvency Law, as well as general knowledge.
