About the Job

Netflix is seeking an experienced professional to join its Business Affairs team based in Mumbai.

The role involves working closely with creative partners, producers, and talent to structure content deals and align business and legal objectives within production frameworks.

The selected candidate will be responsible for negotiating and executing deals, managing relationships with production partners, and supporting the development and production of local content for Netflix’s global streaming platform.

Eligibility

• 6–8+ years of experience in drafting, commercial negotiations, and business-related legal work.
• Experience in liaising and negotiating with talent, production companies, studios, media, or financing partners is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Hindi is highly preferred.

• Strong communication skills and sound judgment.
• Strong analytical and strategic capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and proactively under tight timelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
• Adaptable negotiation style and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage outside counsel and work in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Deal structuring, contract negotiation, and execution, particularly relating to original content development, production, and licensing agreements.
• Drafting legal agreements aligned with business requirements.
• Conducting industry and territory-specific research.
• Working cross-functionally to maintain alignment between departments.
• Collaborating with global partners and managing relationships with production stakeholders.
• Managing additional projects as required in a fast-paced environment.
